Loughrigg with en-suite standard bath and a shower over the bath
£85 per night

Price is for 2 people including breakfast. All taxes included.
Two night minimum booking at weekends and peak seasons.
Three night minimum booking at Bank Holidays.
A deposit for the cost of one night is required to make a booking. Most cards accepted.


Summer in the Lakes

The days are long and sunny, the weather has been glorious and the lakes look at their bluest best. There is no better time to enjoy this beautiful place.

Bookings for the Summer are coming in, and our Stockghyll room tends to get booked up quickly, so if you have a particular room or date in mind don't delay too long to avoid disappointment.

For those of you travelling by train, we now offer a door to door pick up and return servce. The prices are £5 each way from Windermere and £10 each way from Oxenholme. If you are interested, just let us know when booking your room.

We have recently upgraded our toiletries and now have luxurious, environmently friendly Faith in Nature products in our rooms. We hope you will enjoy them. Guests seem to really like them, especially the lovely meadowfoam bath gel.

We have recently upgraded our internet connection and now have free wi-fi in all our rooms.

Totally unscientific, but we like to know where's good so we can recommend the top spots to our guests. The Thai Restaurant at no. 1 has never had anything except praise. Essential to book for Saturday nights at all restaurants.

Most of these restaurants have websites with menus etc. At the guesthouse we have a file with lots of reviews.
