A little late in the day for a July posting but with honeymooning and getting our heads back in the hospitality game I have been a little lax.


Come what may July happens to be our Jam making month and we’ve made a couple of batches of delicious jams this year. The Raspberry and Lime is a treat not to be missed whilst Julies Gooseberry and Orange has to be tasted to be believed this year. Her best Jam ever, in this writers not entirely objective view. :-)

I even had a go myself and brewed up a batch of creditable Blackcurrant Jam, much to my own surprise.

TRAVELJulie’s years of practise, however, still put mine in the shade.
